Experience with Baseballs in Our Facility

Over the years, I have conducted extensive testing of various types of baseballs within our facility. It is crucial to select a pitching machine ball that patrons can reliably utilize.

Challenges with Leather Baseballs

Leather baseballs often deteriorate over time, leading to issues such as increased wear and tear. This degradation not only creates a mess but also significantly weakens the integrity of the ball. Over time this will reduce the life of your pitching machine, and require routine maintenance.

Advantages of Pitching Machine Balls

In contrast, pitching machine balls are designed with flat seams, allowing them to withstand prolonged use for several months without significant degradation.

Recommended Baseballs

Based on my experience, I have identified the top two baseballs that excel in durability and performance. I will continue to update this post should I discover additional options that prove to withstand the test of time.
